Victor Fernandes is Partner at Basch & Rameh Advogados Associados and has close to two decades of corporate law experience.

Victor's expertise includes foreign investments in Brazil, asset and project finance (having acted in the financing of most production units chartered) as well as advising financial institutions within the country's oil and gas sector. This includes foreign investments by the incorporation of local subsidiaries or acquisition of companies with local activity, structuring and negotiation of cross-border transactions, and complex corporate transactions and disputes.

Outside of oil and gas, Victor has also rendered assistance to the regulation of markets, especially water transportation, banking and finance, energy, and air transportation. Within this same capacity, he has coordinated and managed teams and transactions with multiple parties and jurisdictions.

Victor graduated in 2016 with a Master’s Degree in Business Law at São Paulo School of Law of Fundação Getúlio Vargas. He obtained an LLM degree from the New York University School of Law. After graduation, he was admitted as an attorney by the New York State Bar Association.
